У даній статті з'ясовано теоретичні та методологічні засади вивчення стратегій виживання інтелігенції в період нацистської окупації України. Проаналізовано окремі практики виживання представників інтелігенції у скрутні часи Другої світової війни. Виокремлено низку категорій, на які фактично розподілилися представники цієї суспільної когорти, формуючи свої життєві стратегії та моделі поведінки. The article analyses the main principles of the Nazi occupation regime
regarding public healthcare service in reflection of media. The source studies
analysis, systematic and comparative methods show that in the beginning of the
war the press actively revealed the actions of local authorities and Ukrainian
community in organization of medical healthcare institutions. Later newspapers
published mainly propagandistic articles regarding medical healthcare
institutions, which built a positive image of the occupation authorities. The
main problems that unabled adequate satisfaction of main needs of the civilians
in medical services (a lack of financing, staff, medicines, irregular functioning
of community services, etc.) are studied. It is proved that the activities of
medical organizations were directed on preventing the infectious diseases and
supporting of the labour efficiency of the local population. However, standards
of medical assistance were very low throughout the period of Nazi occupation.
The functioning of pharmaceutical, veterinary, educational and scientific
medical institutions during this period need to be studied further. The results of
the research can be used in writing of monographs and textbooks on the history
of Ukraine during the Second World War.

The article analyzes the main legislative and normative acts of the
occupation authorities regarding the population of the Reichskommissariat
“Ukraine”, published in the periodical press in 1941–1944. It is determined that
newspapers have become the main source of informing the civilian population
about the measures of government bodies in all spheres of life. Particular
attention was paid to the registration and registration of the population, the
identification of unreliable persons, economic exploitation of the resources of

authorities during the Nazi occupation are treated in domestic reference editions. A
clarification of the encyclopedic potential of the problematics is preceded by an
analysis of the formation of occupation authorities in the regional aspect. Problemchronological,
comparative-historical, structural-functional methods are employed to
study the topic in question. The main attention is focused on determining the
informative content, reliability of factual material, the absence / presence of
subjectivity in the assessment of both individual phenomena and personalities of the
Nazi occupation in Soviet and modern reference publications. The experience of
